What is BDT Account?

Priyo Pay now supports multi-currency accounts. Previously, only USD was supported, but now, for the first time in Bangladesh, Priyo Pay is also supporting the BDT currency. You can now open a BDT account exclusively.

BDT Account is a Bangladeshi Taka Wallet Account where you can store Bangladeshi Taka, and spend anywhere BDT is supported. Moreover, you can connect your local Banks with this wallet to make local withdraw and payments.

Benefits of a BDT Account

You can receive real-time payments from any Priyo Pay USD or BDT account to your BDT account

This means that someone can transfer funds from their Priyo Pay USD / BDT account to your BDT account, and you will instantly receive the funds in your BDT account.

Suppose you work for an international client and have a team of 10 people in Bangladesh. To pay your team members through Priyo Pay, not everyone in the team needs to have a Priyo Pay USD account. You can receive payment from the client through one person's USD account and then transfer the funds to the rest of the team's BDT accounts.

Make real-time payments from your Priyo Pay USD or BDT account to your staff's BDT account

If you are running a business in the USA, and you have employees in Bangladesh, and you want to pay them in real time. Your staff can pay your staff to their BDT account; or you can pay them from your BDT account to their Bangladeshi Bank Account (whichever is easier for you).

The transfer from the Priyo Pay USD account to the BDT accounts is instant. This saves the cost of opening multiple USD accounts, while the BDT account holders receive their money instantly. Afterward, users can withdraw money from their BDT account through any local bank in Bangladesh.

Payments for F-Commerce and E-Commerce

Suppose you run an e-commerce business, and someone from the United States wants to pay you. You can receive this payment instantly through your Priyo Pay BDT account. The customer simply needs to transfer funds from their Priyo Pay USD account to your Priyo Pay BDT account.
