# What is the difference between a personal account and a business account?

A personal account is for individual use, while a business account is for business purposes. Personal accounts are not suitable for large transactions, which can be done via business accounts. The account opening process and required documents differ. For a personal account, you need personal information (ID, photo, phone number, address, email, etc.). For a business account, you need business-related documents. Currently, only those with a registered business in the US can open a Priyo Pay business account from Bangladesh or the US. The person managing the business account must have a personal Priyo Pay account with successful KYC completion.
